The Socialmatic camera was the invention of Italian inventor Antonio De Rosa. The concept was a web-enabled instant camera that uploads photographs to Instagram and prints them out from an on-board printer. This was pinpointed by many as a great idea but something that would never actualy reach the market, however, it seems these dreams may be turned into reality as this week as De Rosa announced a partnership with one C& A Licensing LLC, a company that licenses the Polaroid brand.
The release date of 2014 has been announced and De Rosa commented “this mix of hardware and software, together with our brand new photo social network will fill the gap between virtuality and reality.”
